Basement Digging Completed

The digging of the basement was completed late Friday afternoon. It rained most of the day on Thursday, but Butch and his son worked all day until late afternoon. The results of the soil compaction test will arrive tomorrow, but we are pretty confident that the site will pass with flying colors. We did notice some water seepage in the lower parts of the foundation. The plan is to begin pouring the footings tomorrow, when the bare lot will begin to see the outline of our new house.
