The morning was spent building the forms for the footings, and spreading gravel between the forms. In the afternoon they poured concrete into the forms, using a crane-like machine which conveyed the concrete to a flexible nozzle. The concrete was poured into the forms, tamped down, and leveled. Steel rebar rods were inserted into the concrete vertically, used when the walls are poured soon,
